The essential oil from Marnys contains oregano and helps to soothe the skin. Oregano essential oil is obtained from leaves and stems through steam distillation, and its distinctive characteristic is the content of carvacrol and ρ-cymene. Marnys essential oils are 100% pure with natural origin, not denatured or mixed with other oils. The oils have a specific chemotype, which means their biochemical composition is precisely defined. Oregano oil gained its fame and distribution in ancient Greece. It is primarily an antibacterial, antiseptic, and restorative agent used by Hippocrates. The spectrum of activity and application of oregano is very broad. When added to a carrier oil and applied externally, oregano oil helps with skin ailments and unpleasant itching. It is suitable for insect stings such as bees and wasps, as it is believed to neutralize the venom. Applied to the abdominal area, it improves digestion and stimulates its activity. As a component of massage blends, the oil enhances muscle activity and joint flexibility. Added to foot balms, it prevents the formation of unpleasant odors.
